Aboard the U.S.S. Voyager, Harry Kim is assigned to work with Seven of Nine on the new Astrometric lab. Kim is uneasy working with the Borg, but their detail provides them with the basis of a friendship. However, Kim is rattled when Seven of Nine interprets his pleasantries as romantic seduction and she decides to further explore her resurgent humanity.

Tuvok (He's promoted back to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The first time he met Janeway, he gave her a dressing down in front of 3 Starfleet ambassadors for not having followed proper tactical procedures during her first command)/ Paris (On agreement of the Captain, he's the Doctor's new medical assistant again, after the leaving of Kes; He'll do 3 shifts a week. Torres and he have a secret hidden flirt outside mess hall as they don't want their relationship to become public yet. First time he uses his running gag about Harry's falling in love for the wrong girl: "What was it last time ? A hologram ?", referring to Alter Ego; the list will grow fast and long)/ Torres (see entry for Paris)/ Harry (he's in charge of the Astrometric Lab upgrade and will be assisted by Seven. He falls for Seven, and she directly ask him if he wants to mate her, provoking his retreat)/ Voyager (Astrometrics Lab, not updated since Voyager left space docks, begins an upgrade with Harry and Seven assigned)/ Neelix (he's given his first official duty as Voyager's ambassador)
