Stardate N.G.
Fifteen years after the Starship U.S.S. Voyager crashes into a desolate ice planet, Commander Chakotay and former Ensign Harry Kim, sole survivors of the tragedy, steal the Delta Flyer from a Federation shipyard and return to the U.S.S. Voyager's frozen hull. Aided by Chakotay's striking love interest, Lieutenant Tessa Omond, Chakotay and Kim are hotly pursued fugitives with hope that somewhere embedded beneath the ice, they'll retrieve the only tools they believe can change the fate of their long-dead fellow crew members.

Journey (Voyager has been in the Delta Quadrant for exactly 4 years, 2 months and 11 days. Voyager's journey is cut by 10 years by using the slipstream drive, however, instabilities forbid the experminent to be done again. In an alternate future, Voyager enters slipstream but is ejected due to irregularities in the field and crash land on an icy planet in the Tekara sector just outside the alpha quadrant, killing everyone except Harry and Chakotay who made it home)/ Neelix (Talaxians believe it's good fortune to have a talaxian burfly stowed away on a ship)/ Seven (she's drunk even by simply absorbing synthetol, which is the case here)/ Voyager (the Quantum slipstream drive from Hope and Fear is brought online and could bring the ship to Earth in in matter of months, not decades)/ harry (he's been sent a message by his 15 years older version who explains his miscalculations killed everyone on Voyager in his timeline)/ Chakotay (in the alternate future, he has a relation with Tessa Omond)
