SUMMARY

Stardate 50425.1   Voyager is seized by a macrovirus alien -- an unknown gelatinous lifeform which attacks and overwhelms the crew and disables the ship -- and Captain Janeway must face the fight of her life, crawling through the disabled ship's dark passageways to elude the alien assault. Meanwhile, The Doctor goes on his first away mission to the Garan mining colony to locate the source of this mysterious and severe viral infection.
