Marseille, no 's' at its end despite ofter written, is located on the French Riviera, halfway between Spain and Italy. It's a new reference to France after the vineyards of its most famous Captain, Jean-Luc Picard (TNG).

His medicine kit includes a blackbird wing, a stone from the river and a koona, a modern device helping to reach hallucination state)/ Torres (she's the only known person who tried to kill her animal guide)/ Janeway (her animal guide is a little lizard, is it a sign regarding the duration of the journey ?)/ Kim (he sleeps with a mask on his eyes, that comes from the Academy where his roomate was awaken almost all the time)/ Paris (he spent a lot of time in a café close to Marseille, where he was in his Academy second semester. Chez Sandrine is his first holoprogram on board the Voyager)/ Neelix (he promotes himself morale officer)/ The Doctor (he still need to be deactivated by someone, otherwise he can stay hours with nothing to do at all)/ Voyager (first time the Holodeck is seen, what a drain of energy, and they say they don't have food because replicators are off-line.)
