The U.S.S. Voyager crew spots a Cardassian designed, self-guided missile carrying a warhead capable of significant destructive force. As it travels towards Rakosan, a heavily populated planet, Torres reports that she is partly responsible for its virtually unstoppable status. When she was a Maquis, she intercepted the missile and changed its program to assult its own makers, but it later went astray and now she is the only hope in stopping it. So Torres volunteers to transport to the missile's interior and reprogram it again. But, before she can detonate the warhead, the onboard computer tries to destroy her.

Voyager (it has type VI photon torpedoes. Since departure from DS9, the ship has fired 17 torpedeos, if none has been built onboard, there should only be 31 left. Again, the ship encounters a race that heard about the reputation of death and destruction of the ship)/ Torres (she communicated with Dreadnought until stardate 47582, 6 months before arrival in the Delta Quadrant)/ The Doctor (he finished reviewing historical, literary and anthropological databases from over 500 worlds, but he still don't know what name to choose)/ Wildman (she wants to call her son to be born after her husband. What a relief it's a girl, otherwhise we should have been training hard saying Greskrendtregk. Finally the name of this father's species is revealed to be K'tarian)/ Kes (her father's name is Vaneran and her uncle is called Elrond, so there's a problem here as it was suggested in Elogium that Ocampa could only have 1 fertility period)/ Paris (his reputation deconstruction continues as he arrives late and unkempt for a briefing)/ Jonas (another transmission with the Kazons, his contact is an intermediary, Lorum, but from now, he wants to deal directly with Seska)
